SALMON – On September 8th and 9th the Idaho Department of Fish and Game will be conducting low level helicopter flights throughout the upper Salmon River drainage to monitor Chinook salmon spawning areas. The Salmon High and Junior High Cross Country teams traveled to Sugar City on Friday to participate in their first test of the season and compete in the Digger Invitational. Twelve Schools and over 280 kids participated in the competition.

SALMON, ID: Beginning Wednesday, September 1st, the Bureau of Land Management (BLM) Salmon Field Office will be conducting road maintenance activities along the McDevitt Creek Road approximately 20 miles south of Salmon, Idaho. Work will continue on these roads through October 1, 2010.
The work schedule will be Monday through Friday, approximately 7:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m.
